There are two(2) ways to use Tamco’s phone service:
- You download a free App to use as a phone interface for your computer, tablet or cell phone, or
- If you want/need an actual RJ11 telephone jack to physically plug your phone equipment into, you can purchase a SIP Gateway router. It plugs into any internet connection with a network cable,(RJ45), and supplies a telephone jack,(RJ11), for you to plug your equipment into.
Note: Since our service comes with 2 extensions you can also use both a ‘gateway router’ and an App so that your home phone will ring at home and on your cell phone when you are out,(as long as you have data or WiFi active on your cell phone).
A SIP Gateway is $99,(one-time fee).
